Meet Garron Griffitts
Licensed Clinical Social Worker | NASM Certified Personal Trainer Founder of Reach Greater Heights
Everyone has a story. I want to understand yours.
Your experiences have helped shape who you are, how you see yourself, and how you navigate life. With 20 years of counseling experience, I provide a safe place where you can share your story, feel understood, and develop the skills and tools to move toward your goals.
My hope is that you leave our work together knowing yourself better, liking who you are, and feeling more confident facing life’s challenges.
A Comfortable Place to Start
My approach is laid back, nonjudgmental, and centered on meeting you where you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come in.
Sometimes you need practical tools and a clear direction. Sometimes you need space to talk openly and work through what you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you and take steps toward the changes you want to make.
I work with adolescents and adults, specializing in addiction and relationship counseling. My addiction specialties include drugs, alcohol, compulsive gambling, pornography, and video game addiction. I also help couples prepare for marriage and help those in good marriages strengthen their connection.
Supporting Mental and Physical Health
Exercise and mental health go hand in hand. That connection inspired me to become a personal trainer so I could help people physically as well as mentally and emotionally.
With five years of personal training experience, I focus on Functional Fitness for Practical People—building strength, mobility, and endurance that support everyday life. Whether you’re getting started or working toward a new goal, I want exercise to feel approachable, purposeful, and suited to you.
You can work with me for counseling, personal training, or both, depending on your needs and interests.
Education and Experience
I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Arizona State University. My professional credentials include:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT)
Certified Color Code Trainer
With 20 years in counseling and five years in personal training, I bring experience helping people understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and build healthier habits.
Outside the Office
I love spending time with my family, camping, hiking, exercising, and strengthening my faith. These are meaningful parts of my life and ways I stay connected to what matters most to me.
Personal growth matters to me in my own life, too. I appreciate the effort it takes to try something new, work through a challenge, and keep moving forward.
Let’s Take the Next Step
Whether you’re looking for a safe place to talk, stronger relationships, support with addiction recovery, or greater physical strength and confidence, I’d welcome the opportunity to get to know your story.
